The training course "Specialist Automation Technology" enables skilled workers to independently take over work on electrical systems in the industrial sector.

Module 1: IHK certificate course Electrician for Defined Activities (15 days)
- Electrical Fundamentals
- Electrotechnical Components
- Three-Phase Alternating Current (Three-Phase Power)
- Electrical Installation Technology
- Construction and Testing of Electrical Systems and Devices
- Electrical Machines and Control Technology
Module 2: Fundamentals of Automation Technology (14 days)
- Fundamentals and Terms of Automation Technology
- Control Engineering and Industrial Communication Technology
- Fundamentals of pneumatics and electropneumatics
- Theoretical foundations of robotics (not manufacturer-specific)
- Servicing and maintenance (troubleshooting machines and systems)

This training program offers the prerequisites according to §82 SGB III to be completed as eligible training (course and remuneration subsidy via education voucher). For a query of eligibility, it should be clear at registration whether you will participate in one or both modules. Please register via the LMS accordingly.
Target audience
- Skilled workers with completed technical vocational training (Module 1)
- Skilled workers with completed electronic vocational training or Electrician for Defined Activities (Module 2)

Requirements for funding:
- Highest educational qualification at least 2 years ago
- No use of subsidized qualification via the Federal Employment Agency in the last 2 years
